How to Install BUYSTICKTILES 3D Peel and Stick Wall Tiles
Transform your space effortlessly with BUYSTICKTILES's 3D Peel and Stick Wall Panels. Follow these simple steps for a seamless installation:
🧼 Step 1: Clean the Surface
- Preparation: Thoroughly clean the wall surface using a powerful grease remover, such as TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate), to eliminate any dust, grease, or residues.
- Drying: Ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding.
- Freshly Painted Walls: If your walls have been recently painted, wait up to three weeks before applying the tiles to allow the paint to cure fully.
✏️ Step 2: Plan and Cut
- Layout Planning: Use a pencil and ruler to lightly mark on the wall where each tile will be placed, ensuring a precise layout.
- Cutting Tiles: Utilize a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing to accurately cut the tiles to fit your design requirements.
🔗 Step 3: Peel and Stick
- Peeling: Gently fold down the protective backing of the tile, being careful not to touch the adhesive side, as oils and dirt can affect its strength.
- Placement: Align the first tile with your guide marks and press lightly to position it correctly.
- Adhering: Once satisfied with the placement, remove the remaining backing and press the tile firmly against the wall. Use a plastic smoother to ensure optimal adhesion, paying special attention to grout lines and concave areas.
🎉 Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
- Repeat: Continue the process, repeating the above steps to cover your desired area.
- Final Press: After 24 hours, press the grout lines firmly again with a plastic smoother to reinforce adhesion.
- Curing Time: The adhesive typically achieves full bonding strength within 48 hours.
