Installation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Thoroughly clean the wall using a strong grease remover like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). A clean, smooth, and dry surface is essential for proper adhesion.
Tip: If the wall has been freshly painted, wait up to three weeks before applying the tiles.

Step 2: Plan and Cut
Use a pencil and ruler to lightly mark the placement of each tile. For precise cutting, use a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing.

Step 3: Peel and Stick
Peel back a small section of the protective backing—avoid touching the adhesive to keep it clean. Lightly align the tile with your markings, then remove the rest of the backing and press firmly into place using a plastic smoother. Pay extra attention to the grout lines and textured areas to ensure strong adhesion.
Tip: The adhesive will fully bond within 48 hours. For optimal results, press the grout lines again with a smoother after 24 hours.

Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
Repeat the steps to complete your wall with a flawless, seamless look.

Wall Application Guidelines

Recommended Surfaces:
These tiles adhere best to smooth and clean surfaces such as:

• Smooth ceramic tile backsplashes

• Wallpaper (if any edges are peeling, remove them before applying the tiles)

Surfaces Not Recommended:
Avoid applying tiles to the following:

• Greasy or oily walls
• Brick
  
• Stucco
  
• Stone
• Unfinished drywall or plaster
  
• Unpainted plywood

Important Note:
If the wall surface is unsuitable or if additional bonding strength is needed, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive for improved adhesion.
